BRCs and collections ate useful to collect and store samples from long term observation and experimentation

SOERE PRO (2012 - ongoing)

Funding: co-funded by INRA, ALLENVI, ADEME

Leaders: Thierry Morvan, Denis Montenach, Aurélia Michaud, Sabine Houot (INRA)

Summary: The Centre for Soil Genetic Resources of the platform GenoSol collects, stores and characterize soil samples from the different sites of the SOERE (EFELE, COLMAR, Qualiagro, la Réunion) since 2011 (Colmar, Qualiagro), 2012 (EFELE) and 2013 (La Réunion). Storage of these soils allows a better valorisation of these experimental infrastructures by offering to scientists a temporal set of samples.

RMQS2 (2016-2027)

Funding: co-funded by French ministries for environment and agriculture, French Agency for Environment (Ademe), French Agency for Biodiversity (AFB) and INRA

Leader: Claudy Jolivet (INRA)

Summary: RMQS2 aims at collecting soil samples for the 2200 sites of the French Soil Monitoring Network (Réseau de Mesures de la Qualité des Sols - RMQS) in order to i) collect soil samples representative for French soils and land uses, ii) prepare subsamples for analysis by various platforms (including GenoSol, BioChemEnv, Platinaae), iii) store samples on the long term within the CEES and GenoSol to enable future additional analyses.
